Executive Management Team
Chief Executive Officer & MD
John Florenca is CEO of Omnitronics Australia and President of Omnitronics Incorporated in the USA.
Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2004, John spent 10 years as Head of Engineering at Omnitronics where he was responsible for the planning and implementation of radio dispatch systems, interoperability and automation and remote control products. John managed the company’s transition to VoIP technology and remains actively involved in the technical direction of the business. He is a graduate of Curtin University and holds Degrees in Computer Technology and Project Management.
Kor is responsible for the management of the Engineering department. He has extensive international experience as a design engineer and manager in a variety of industries including communication, defense, transport, electronics and aeronautics.
He joined Omnitronics in 2007. His formal qualifications include MBA and MEng degrees.
Research and Development Manager
Paul brings to Omnitronics more than 30 years of experience in developing embedded software across several industries, including rail, mining, power, banking and communications. Over the years his ingenuity has shaped a number of radio & communications products to world class standard, including as Team Leader Embedded Development for Omnitronics Radio over IP products and Digital Radio Interfaces. Currently, Paul leads the Innovation and New Product Development teams at Omnitronics.
His formal qualifications include Engineering and GD of Management.
Global Sales Manager, Regional VP Sales
An Electronics Engineer with a solid background and passion for Technology, Communications and Software solutions. Over the past 16 years, John has amassed a wealth of International Sales Management and Business Leadership experience. John’s ultimate passion is within the technology and communications space. John completed his Engineering studies within Europe and now leads the Omnitronics Global Sales Team strategy from our head office in Perth, Australia.
John joined Omnitronics in 2017. His formal qualifications include Business Management and an Honours Degree (Distinction) in the field of Electronic Engineering.
Tina joins the Omnitronics Executive Team with over 20 years of experience in strategic International Marketing, Product Development and Training across B2B and B2C environments around the world. Heading up the global Marketing function for the organisation, her data-driven approach adds strategic business insights to Marketing and other organisational capabilities. With her team she is working towards 25% p.a. growth across Brand Awareness and Brand Engagement across global markets. Tina’s ‘Baby Steps’ approach contributes achievable continuous process improvements to organisational processes, systems and internal & external communications & engagement.
Tina holds MBA (Marketing) and BIntBA (Marketing) degrees as well as a Diploma in Training Design, a Diploma in Training & Education and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. She is certified in Advanced Google Analytics and AdWords Search, and a professional member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
Alan Parker is an experienced Business Development manager who has worked in Omnitronics for the past 30 years. He has been responsible for developing business in a number of market segments, including the vitally important Public Safety area, where he has been instrumental in the development and promotion of interoperability products for radio communications. He has also been successful in managing Distribution alliances in export markets, including Asia, Europe and the USA. He is a solutions focused person and is adept at working with customers to identify the solution that best fits their needs.
Senior Communications Consultant – USA (East Coast) & South America
Cyrus has been with Omnitronics for over 3 years managing partner sales for the America’s and Canada. With over 30+ years in direct and partner sales in the Telecommunications, Wireless and Technology industries Cyrus brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in helping our dealer network develop and deliver solutions that help their clients businesses become more efficient and successful. Cyrus graduated with a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire and lives on the East Coast.
Senior Communications Consultant – USA (West Coast) & Canada
Ben has worked in the Two-Way Radio Industry for the past 15 years. During this time, he has focused on Radio Network Systems Sales, providing design and leadership on a wide range of infrastructure system deployments around the globe for customers including FBI, US Marine Corps, Canadian RCMP, Taiwan Civil Defense and many more. Ben holds a Diploma in Computer Engineer Technology and has been a P25 subject matter expert and trainer for the past 12 years.
Senior Communications Consultant – ASIA and EMEA Regions
Michael has spent his entire professional career in the technology sector, and for the last 7 years he has travelled the globe helping organisations improve business outcomes through the innovative use of technology. Mike holds a BSc Hons Degree in Information Systems, and with experience in telecommunications, communications software and cloud services, he is passionate about improving business processes and the lives of the people that he works with.
Senior Communications Consultant – WA, SA, NT, VIC, TAS
Micheal has in excess of fifteen years of service with Omnitronics and more than thirty five years experience working in the communications and electronics industry.
Micheal has a technical background and has worked on many national and international projects with involvement in all project phases including planning, design, construction, commissioning and maintenance.
Senior Communications Consultant – QLD, NSW, ACT, NZ
Paul has responsibility for business development in the QLD, NSW, ACT and New Zealand regions. He has over two years of service with Omnitronics and more than thirty years experience working in the communications and information technology industries. His qualifications include a degree in telecommunications engineering and electronics as well as experience in outsourcing, converged communications and cloud based solutions gained with BT, IBM and AT&T.
Senior Sales Engineer, North America
Edwin joined the Omnitronics Sales Engineering Team in 2018. For the past three decades, his extensive expertise in RF and Radio Communications have earned him a successful career. Prior to Ommnitronics, Edwin served as Engineering Director for Systems Implementation at Hytera for 11 years, but with previous and ample international experience in the radio communications industry.
He has become an expert in advanced technological solutions such as DMR III, Tetra and Wireless broadband systems. He brings a wealth of knowledge in system integration, applications and implementation. Edwin graduated with his Electrical Engineering degree at The City College of NY and gained his masters in engineering at Columbia University in New York. Edwin also brings valuable experience to provide exceptional support to our customers globally, with a focus in USA and Latin America. He is currently based in Florida where he lives with his family.
Channel Alliance Manager
Doug has worked in the Communications industry for the past 45 years. During that time he has been involved with Paging, Two Way Radio and Radio Dispatch industries at various levels ranging from Technical Support to National Sales. He has much experience in establishing and maintaining Sales Channels.
Doug received his technical training from DeVry and has worked with Utilities, Two Way Radio Dealers, Fire Departments, Law Enforcement, 911 Dispatch Centers, Health Care, and Local and Federal Agencies.
This versatile background allows him to have a unique understanding of the relationships needed between manufacturers, resellers, and end users.
Internal Sales Consultant
Sealon joined Omnitronics in 2004 as an Administration Officer providing support to the Sales team in the Queensland/International Office.
She has since assumed the role of Internal Sales Consultant and her core responsibilities are to support the Global Sales team in the creation of quotations, accurate order processing and providing high levels of customer service.
Her past experiences are with Ford Motor Company and the Taj Group of Hotels in India. Sealon has also worked with Queensland Health in the Communicable Diseases department prior to joining Omnitronics.
Sealon is very enthusiastic, focused and passionate about her work. She is diligent, efficient and a great team member.
