The Omnitronics IPR Series of Radio over IP (RoIP) interfaces are designed to merge the power and flexibility of IP with our customers’ analog radio equipment and networks. This greatly increases communication reach and offers many benefits including interoperability, scalability, low cost of ownership and ease of implementation. It replaces expensive leased lines and is brand independent. The IPR Series enables you to create flexible and powerful radio networks with convenient operator access.

IPR 100
The IPR100 VOIP (voice over IP) adaptor is designed to provide Voice over IP extensions for analog radio equipment. Each device enables an analog two-way radio to be remotely controlled over an IP link, either in a LAN or WAN environment. Working in pairs, two IPR100 Voice over ip adaptors can be used to create a back-to-back IP link between two radios. Alternatively, a pair of VOIP adaptors can also be used to provide remote control and monitoring of a single radio from an operator’s handset or console.
IPR 400
The IPR400 4-Channel VoIP Adaptor for Radio provides Voice over IP extensions for analog radio systems and enables up to four two-way radios to be remotely controlled over an IP link, either in a LAN or a WAN environment. The IPR400 is housed in a compact 1RU 19″ enclosure and provides a superset of the features found in the IPR100 including isolated 4-wire E&M interfaces, multi-casting, voice activity detection, voice compression, CTCSS, SELCAL and DTMF signalling, encryption and RS-232 data tunnelling. In addition to these standard features, the IPR400 also provides site monitoring via SNMP and audio bridging (cross-banding). The audio bridging facility further enhances the product’s value at repeater sites by providing the means to link together groups of radios, IP and VoIP channels, in various combinations.
IPR 110Plus
The IPR110 Plus carefully combines VoIP & SIP technologies to enable dynamic connections to remote radios making radio communications more accessible and easy to use. The IPR110 Plus is used for two main purposes:
1. Providing radio network coverage to SIP phone users
2. Extending telephone coverage to rugged or difficult locations that are best accessed through wireless communications.
The gateway enables users to connect to remote radio networks from their existing office based SIP compatible PBX systems and, at the same time, it gives users of two-way radios the ability to dial SIP phones or telephone extensions from the field.
The powerful IPR110 Plus builds on the features of the highly regarded IPR100 by providing remote RS-232 channel change and higher levels of security. However, the real power of this device comes from the product’s ability to manage connections with SIP phones and SIP compatible PBX systems. This product is perfect for organisations requiring occasional access to a radio network using SIP Phones.
